Vineet Kumar Singh who is popular for his films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Bombay Talkies and Mukkabaaz is now going to be featured in upcoming Reema Kagti directorial film Gold. He will be playing a role of hockey player in the film
The actor Vineet Kumar Singh is featured in the film along Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Amit Sadh in significant roles. The film Gold is about India winning its first gold in Olympics after independence.
Vineet Kumar Singh shared about his journey to the Bollywood, he shared he has been always wanted to become an actor. He added that his younger siblings have confidence that he will do something significant but he has no support from his own family. When he first told his father that he wants to become an actor and go to Mumbai, he showed him the door.
The actor continues that his father said to him that he has five kids, if one leaves; it won’t make any difference to him. Vineet further added, that time he realized that he has to first stand on his own feet before he start taking his own decision.
Vineet Kumar Singh was an Ayurveda doctor before he entered in the film Industry. He shared that his father was a mathematician and most of his uncles has done the same. He added that they all make him read mathematics, even on holidays so he decided to chose something else and hence biology. The actor shared that he started his plan to practise at the day and struggle at the night.
The actor said that he came to Mumbai in 1999 where after a long time; he is now at a place where his hard works paid well. Gold is going to be released today where the films’ prediction of the opening figures are around 10 crores.
